A group interview for the 1st half. There was about 8 of us. They paired us off with a manager and then conducted a semi formal interview 1-on-1. The questions were fairly simple, then discussed previous hospitality experience and availability.

Interview
The interview was fine. Got asked about previous experiences working in food and drink and if I had any five-star experience. Then did a trial shift for around 3 hours. It’s a fast paced environment for mornings so you’ve got to be quick on your feet.

Do you have any experience working in a five star establishment?
Many interviewees, sat in room for 1 hour before 15 min interview even though I was early. Interviews done by many different staff including chef. Interviewer was nice and took notes during interview.
