Interview
Very comfortable and easy going interview. The manager explained the role and as it was a Christmas temp position I was asked a good few questions and the whole experience was very good and the outcome was that I'm still with the company.

I applied online. I interviewed at Iceland Foods (Hounslow, England) in Sept 2023
Interview
The manager's first comment was unexpected: "I wasn't expecting you; normally, it's mostly men applying for these roles." She then got my name wrong three times in about 15 minutes, giving me the impression of an unorganised branch. I was informed I'd be working at a different branch than the one I interviewed for, which further confirmed this initial impression. During the interview, there was concern about heavy lifting, with the manager asking, "Are you sure you can do it?" seemingly because I am a woman. Despite this, I was given a trial shift and hired on the spot.
