Both off-site and on-site has been part of the process. Modern variations of the interview may require posting your self-filmed video answering a basic battery of questions. On the plus side, you can do this at your own pace.

Interview
Pretty typical process. HR reaches out to me to gauge my experience and interest. Next stage Hiring manager would call me and conduct a technical interview to access my skill and then a panel of 4 engineers would take turns talking to me.
Process overall was pretty smooth. I was surprised at the end they decided not to hire me because of the lack of manufacturing experience which I found odd they decided to interview me anyway.
Overall good experience.
