After initial introductions the interview proper begins with 10 minutes of quick fire trivia questions. The remaining 45 minutes were spent on two LeetCode style coding questions (one easy, the other medium). After providing a solution to the first problem I began on the second, shortly thereafter the interviewer told me he needed to take a bathroom break. I'm not going to knock anyone for needing that, but the right thing to do in this instance would've been to pause the interview for five minutes. After failing to deliver a full solution to the second problem the interview concluded on time. I felt that my performance was adversely impacted due to my interviewer's absence. I ultimately got the expected output to print but feel I would've been able to deliver a complete solution had I had those extra minutes to ask clarifying questions. Indeed requires two complete solutions in order to proceed to the next round. I'm truly gutted that I wasn't in a position where I could deliver the goods.
