      Python Lead Developer Interview

      31 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Infosys in May 2026

      Interview

Infosys Interview Experience – Disappointing I attended the interview and felt that it went very well. I successfully completed both practical coding questions and answered the theoretical questions confidently. Despite what I believed was a strong performance, I received a rejection without any detailed feedback. While I fully respect the company's hiring decisions, the outcome was difficult to understand given the interview experience. As a candidate, significant time and effort go into preparing for and attending interviews. Receiving a rejection after what appeared to be a successful interview, without constructive feedback, can be quite discouraging. Additionally, the system now shows that I cannot apply for other roles for the next six months, even though I attended the interview sincerely and completed all rounds as expected. I would appreciate greater transparency regarding the evaluation process and eligibility restrictions. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I hope the recruitment process can provide better clarity and communication to candidates in the future.
