I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Infosys (Palo Alto, CA) in May 2018
Interview
They first arranged a go-to meeting, in which the interviewer bailed on me. I was told to still hold the call while others were looking for my interviewer. Then after 30 minutes passed the arranged time, I had no reply from anyone at all. No apologize or anything. Then they asked me to go to a hiring event on Saturday at 9am. I was told to be there 20-30 minutes earlier. However my interviewers did not show up until 9:30am. I waited for one hour in the lobby. The interview was a joke. Instead of focusing on candidate's problem solving skill, they asked me some very specific Python related questions. Apparently they expected a new grad student to know what "Monkey Patching" is. They kept asking me to write functions in one line and one line only. The whole time I was asked with these questions that were not related to algorithms or data structures. After 15 minutes, they told me the interview is over. Both of the guys who interviewed me did not spend time to read my resume or get to know me. They were just on their laptop and tried to give me those "got you" questions.
Other than the horrible interview experience, the person who reached out to me did not give me any descriptions on the job. He simply just said " come in, you will know when you are there". The whole process was a nightmare.
