I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2019
Interview
I had a quick phone screen with HR followed by a manager at intel. I then got invited onsite where I spent the day going through the usual gauntlet of people. The people were generally nice and they provided lunch.
The thing that irks me though is not being denied but never even getting a rejection email or letter. I asked the HR person after a week but was told that the team was still interviewing. It takes just a few minutes to send an email saying no. It's also a basic courtesy that I would expect from any employer large or small.
3 step process of recruitment: HR initial discussion, interview with a manager, technical interview with team members (+homework task). Casual conversation. I received very clear feedback. I have no objections.
