Interview was conducted firstly as an exam. The questions were more open ended and designed to area your engineering thinking over rote memorisation. Examples include choosing a supply chain for a new aircraft seat, if a kettle can successfully boil X amount of water, and how you would design a aircraft seat armrest given various fail states. An interview was then conducted with two senior engineers going over your answers and asking some standard interview questions
