I interviewed at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals (Cambridge, MA)
Interview
Two phone interviews. In an all-day session: a presentation, and multiple 1:1 and panel discussions with employees from many different departments and levels. They clearly pull very long hours and are understaffed. Many required social outings after hours.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals (New York, NY) in Jan 2022
Interview
Absolutely awful - grueling. No consideration for candidate's time, only scheduled when convenient for managers. The process was so redundant and repetitive. Extremely amateur and unprofessional. The questions were so basic but the interviewers / managers wanted extremely scripted and very specific answers that correlated to old school Pharma... catch up with the times! They should be looking for used car sales persons who have no dignity left.

Question 1
Unnecessarily difficult. They followed the STAR format for every interview, however all eight - yes 8... were expecting different answers during all eight rounds... unreal.
