Rather disappointing interview for a manager role. Short interview and lack of interest & depth. It's likely they are including people of colour to make sure they tick off their policies. This role was later advertised a few months down the line and a member of my network (who is also a person of colour) was invited. They had the same feedback as myself. Jacana will never say it, but its obvious by looking at their team that they have a type.
I applied online. I interviewed at Jacana Energy (Darwin) in Aug 2021
Interview
Shocking from the start - entered the room to have one of the interviewers loudly ask the others on the panel -'who is this? I did not know we were interviewing right now? Where is the paperwork' I was to find out after the interview- that the questions I was asked were not consistent with other applicants questions. Later without being prompted freely divulged I went for job and told a candidate accepted - I would be wasted in the role - thereby voiding my privacy.

Question 1
I had been at a higher level than the job requirements - but stressed I simply wanted to enjoy my job and go home. I was asked if a supervisor made a decision I knew was absolutely wrong - how would I deal with it? (Not asked of other applicants)
