Interview
2 interviewers, 1 from HR and 1 HOD, both of whom appeared uninterested and unprepared.
Interview questions were standard questions, nothing difficult. When I asked them questions, they seemed taken aback and unable to answer directly, or they were just not interested or unable to grasp what I asked. For example I asked "what kind of training development and career advancement opportunities are there?". Was wanting to find out more about the kind of training development structure the company has, since it is afterall a huge and reputable one. The answer was "oh that really depends on how the staff performs in the job." That was basically the answer, nothing about the kind of opportunities available.
Overall, the gist of interview seemed to only be informing me that they were looking for someone with retail leasing experience, yet on their advertisement they did not specify "retail" leasing experience was required, nor was "retail" leasing experience specified on my resume. Also, they only informed during the job interview that cold calling was required, it was however also not specified in their job advertisement. Honestly if all these were specified in the job advertisement, I wouldn't even have applied. And since it was obvious I do not have that "retail" leasing experience they were looking for, why even call me up for interview.
Total waste of time in summary. Very negative experience.
