"Unfair and Unclear Interview Process"
I recently went through the interview process for the Presales Manager role at Kuche7, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and unfair.
The Process:
I completed four rounds of interviews, investing a significant amount of time and effort. Throughout the process, I made my salary expectations clear, specifically asking for a 30% hike from my current package. Despite this, the company offered me a salary lower than what I currently earn. I accepted the offer in good faith, thinking I could focus on the opportunity for growth.
The Issues:
After accepting the offer, I was unexpectedly asked to attend another round of interviews, which was never mentioned initially. Weeks later, I was informed that they wanted to negotiate further, claiming my experience wasn’t fully relevant to the role. If this was a concern, it should have been addressed in earlier rounds, not after an offer had been made and accepted.
The Outcome:
The lack of transparency and repeated changes to the offer made the process feel disorganized and unfair. It seemed like they were unsure about what they were looking for, which ultimately led to me walking away from the opportunity.
Advice to Management:
Please ensure clear communication and consistency in the hiring process. If a candidate's experience is in question, address this earlier on rather than dragging them through multiple rounds and negotiations.
