I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Staten Island, NY) in Sept 2015
Interview
It was a group interview that occurred over the span of a few days. Based off the answers to your questions management chose you to be in a specific department even if you felt like that department wasn’t going to really suit you and you didn’t really get a say about it. You were told in front of a group of department you will be working In.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you like working with people and how do you get along with them?
Was a relatively easy interview, they just tell you the duties and will probably hire you right after the interview. Super duper basic stuff that anyone could do you’ll just be sorting clothes unloading the truck and whatnot nothing that you can’t handle.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and why you want to work here
I was contacted via email for a virtual interview. I signed up for a date and time and proceeded to wait. I logged in but no one showed up. The site kept cutting off because no one entered the interview platform. I never heard back from Kohl's.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Santa Rosa, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
It was a video interview and very short. Sounded promising but they emailed me that I did not get the job. I am very presentable and engaging. I did not understand why they wouldn't hire for a seasonal worker who shows up has reliable transportation an wants to work.
