Interview
I went in expecting the interview to be about an hour long and it lasted two hours. They were unprepared as they didn't even have my application in front of them and had no idea what position I was interviewing for. Overall the experience was a horrible first impression of the prospective compnay I wanted to work for.

Interview
The application was months in the making, I applied, had a quick phone interview, and was selected for a bench position for when something opened up, I kept in constant contact with the recruiter and finally was offered another phone interview. After that a few weeks later I was set for a in person interview at a local store that wasn’t where the job was, after not hearing anything back for another month I finally got a call that it was filled internally but was offered a key holder position down the road should one open up in the area. With my past and current experience in hand being offered a position I haven’t held in over 8 years was a slap in the face I get the reasoning it was a step in the door, but it was also a giant step back in my career from what I’ve done Overall the interviews went well and I had great very involved and relaxing conversations with each person involved, but the timing of each process and the final outcome felt disrespectful to me after all the time spent
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kohl's in May 2019
Interview
The Kohls main recruiter reached out to me and asked me to go for an interview with one of their local stores. The recruiter came off as having to do this, she did not show or express any genuine desire to help or assist. I put it down to her style and age.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
I was asked basic customer service questions that surprised me. The questions had been created to appeal to the Millennial crowd and I felt like I was being interviewed for a children day care and not a serious business role. I was quite taken aback.
I was asked how I felt about 1st impressions? I shared my thoughts and her facial expressions showed me that she was a classic millennial who felt she knew better and that I was simply quite stupid.

Interview
The interview only lasted five minutes and went by fast. It was a panel of two Kohl's Store Managers. It was a fairly fast process. It started at a career fair at my school, and they emailed me to schedule an interview for that following week. Unfortunately, I did not get offered the internship.
