I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kohl's (Laurel, MD) in Sept 2013
Interview
You come into a backroom and they sit you down and ask a few probing questions. Why do you want to work here? What are your skills? Do you have retail experience? They then delve into customer and employee scenarios and make note of your answers. They then round out the interview by giving you a personality test that is multiple choice.

About 20 minutes , basic questions about teamwork and customer service. Had the interview and they called a few minutes later to offer me the job. The interviewer was very nice and made me feel calm
