I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at L'Oréal in Aug 2011
Interview
The interview process took several weeks - after the submission of the CV I've got an email inviting me for a phone interview with HR, then after a week and interview with brand director. Both interviews lasted for about an hour.
Questions:
Tell me about your experience with L'Oreal
Tell me about your work experience.
What were intercultural challenges in groups consisted of international students?
Describe the brand you're applying for: characteristics, competitors. Why this brand? Why L'Oreal in general.
In general, the interview was not hard at all, all questions were ordinary interview questions, and managers were quite enthusiastic, attentive to the interviewee and friendly.
The job interview was very pleasant, with a relaxed and direct atmosphere. It was very insightful. The discussion included a short case study where you had to apply simple mathematical rules.
Friendly HR intern but with low interest in the candidates’ background. Very quickly it comes to end. The time between invitation and interview is quite short for well preparation and final response were very slow.
