The job description on ZipRecruiter states it is remote. A representative named Sylvie Kress from the company reached out to me via e-mail to coordinate a video call and we set up a date and time. Before the RSVP was finalized there were a few questions to answer and one of them was "are you able to commute reliably for this position" to which I answered "no" because it clearly stated it was a remote position. I am located out of state and they are stationed in Texas. I reached out to Sylvia via e-mail 24 hours prior for clarification that the position was definitely remote becuase I didn't want to take up either of our time and the interview slot should go to a more viable candidate, but there was never any reciprocation. So I got ready for the video call, but when I went to access the link to my surprise it had been retracted. I feel that I had done all of my professional due-diligence and found this to be highly unprofessional on their part. I took PTO out of my job, and cleared my schedule and I'm sure this representative didn't have to do. It is highly inconsiderate and I think it reflects poorly on this company if that is how I was already treated right off the bat so I wanted to raise a flag for others.
