Lidamus interview questions

After applying through email, I received a response asking me to schedule an interview. It said I'll receive a link for a 2 hours challenge 24 hours before the interview. It was an aptitude test. They needed a score of 80-95% on the test, which I didn't get, so the interview was canceled. I wouldn't have proceeded if I knew it was an aptitude test (because I don't believe it's an effective recruitment tool). I expected a coding challenge. Maybe more transparency would save the company and candidates some time. They could mention in the job post about the aptitude test. It seemed like they ensured the candidates didn't prepare.
