From start to finish, the interview experience at Lyft was a positive one. The recruiter that handled my candidacy was very friendly and professional, always following up withing the timeline she set.
In terms of the interview timeline, I applied online and heard from a recruiter the very next day about setting up a phone screen, which was scheduled for the following week. After mentioning that I was interviewing elsewhere and was further along in that process, the recruiter made a big effort to speed up my interview process, resulting in my two in-person interviews to also take place in the same week.
Each interview was with 5 or so people, some of which were on the team I'd be joining, others just within the same department. They mostly asked about my background and experience, adding in some personality questions. Everyone I spoke with seemed genuinely interested in who I was as a person and my interviews felt like real conversations rather than just focusing on drilling me with questions.
Even if I had not been hired, I would have nothing but good things to say about interviewing at Lyft.
