I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
I submitted my resume through a diversity program. A recruiter contacted me and we did a 30 minute phone screen. I had 2 technical phone interviews. Then I went onsite for 2 technical whiteboarding questions. They I went back again to do an API coding challenge with an engineer. I think they are now starting to change the interview process to include a 1 hour in house coding assignment to decrease bias in interviews.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Toronto, ON) in May 2026
Interview
My experience wasn’t great with Lyft.
During my system design interview, my interviewer kept silent most of the time.
No communication, and he seems to end my interview session as soon as possible.
Be careful about this
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Process is good. Not too exhaustive and they respond quickly. Recruiters are great too. I cleared all my interviews and I am in team matching since a very long time. Lyft does not give you an offer even after clearing interviews.
