I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2016
Interview
The interview process was relatively quick which was both a good and a bad thing. I had an on-site interview that lasted a total of 3-4 hours, during which I met most of the team. I received feedback from the recruiter within 48 hours and made my decision shortly after.

Question 1
Behavioural, technical (scenario based questioning)
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft in Jan 2025
Interview
The interview process was very organized and positive overall. First, I had a 30-minute call with the recruiter who walked me through the role, the team structure, and asked about my background and interest in Lyft. Second was a 30-minute conversation with the hiring manager where we discussed my past experience, what I was looking for in my next role, and how I approach problem-solving. After that, I received a take-home financial modeling assessment in Excel that included a few case-based questions. It was a good mix of forecasting, scenario analysis, and business judgment. Finally, I had four 30-minute interviews in one day with different team members. Each focused on different areas such as technical skills, business acumen, culture fit, and how I work cross-functionally. Everyone I spoke with was welcoming, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about the work they do!
