I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Nashville, TN) in Dec 2016
Interview
An aquaintance of mine works in CE at Lyft, so I forwarded my resume to him and got an email requesting a phone interview in a couple weeks. I talked with someone for about 10 minutes, mainly about my customer service background and strategies for dealing with upset customers. They invited me in for an in-person interview the next week, which was basically three 30-minute long interviews with various employees and an online test in which you write an email reply to a fictional driver. I made it to the next round a week later, where they followed roughly the same format, but began instead with a fictional phone call from someone posing as an disgruntled customer.
The hiring process was pretty smooth. I initially applied in may and was given a job offer the next month. I appreciated everyone I spoke with. The hiring team was warm and inviting. I had three rounds of interviews.

Interview
Once they email you saying they would like to interview you, you first send in a written response to an email from a driver and they review it and if they like how you responded then they emailed me a link and the time of the interview. Then when you go to the link you join the meeting and you get interviewed by 4 different people including a customer role play. And they also check your internet connection. They also make sure you have a desk, chair and a quiet office space in your home.
