I was contacted within 2 days of submitting my resume by a Lyft recruiter. I had a 30 minute interview with the Lyft recruiter which was followed up a week later by another 30 minute interview with the hiring attorney. A week and a half later I had my 2 hour on-site interview at Lyft’s HQ. I interviewed with the hiring attorney I had previously spoken with on the phone, the head of general counsel, and two paralegals within the litigation department for 30 minutes each. I was told I would hear back within the next couple days as to whether or not I got the job.
Over a month later and I still have not heard a single thing. I sent 2 follow-up emails and I still have not heard a thing. In my 14 years of being a part of the workforce in this country I have never had an experience like this where after I had an in-person interview I was not given at least the common courtesy of being told I did not get the job.
