Frustrating. I initially applied for the job back in late summer. Had a scheduled interview, took off half of a day and was ghosted. I emailed several people with no response. Things happen, so in the fall I applied again. Actually got an interview request again. They called this time. Short, simple conversation. Positive for sure. Weeks (2 or 3), I finally got a call with the hiring manager. I messed up the times of the call, but was able to connect later and had a positive conversation. Again, weeks later I got a request for zoom interviews. Excellent! First guy was super chill, but his internet was so bad and spotty it was awkward. It was not a comfortable situation. The second fella was good and met with the manager once again. Very nice people.
I'm a big girl, I'm'm not the right person for a job, ok fine. I am absolutely ok with that. Please respect our time too.
My gripe is the amount of time and silence between emails, interviews and over all lack of communication. Cheers to whom ever got the gig and is on the team. I hope you found out soon enough and haven't moved on.
You're obviously a good place to work, but the hiring process needs to improve or you will lose good people.
