I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied through the online process and employee referral. Basically the recruiter sends you an email and talks to you first about your resume and outgoing questions. The recruiter then tells you on the phone how the interview process is like, where it consists of two interviews on the phone and two on site interviews if you did well on the on the phone interviews. For the on phone interview, you basically code using coderpad in a language of your choice for about an hour or so.

Question 1
Implement a way to check to see if the driver took 8 hour break after 12 hours of driving. If not, disable driver mode.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Toronto, ON) in May 2026
Interview
My experience wasn’t great with Lyft.
During my system design interview, my interviewer kept silent most of the time.
No communication, and he seems to end my interview session as soon as possible.
Be careful about this
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Process is good. Not too exhaustive and they respond quickly. Recruiters are great too. I cleared all my interviews and I am in team matching since a very long time. Lyft does not give you an offer even after clearing interviews.
