I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lyft in Feb 2023
Interview
Was reached out for an interview by a recruiter who seemed unsure of the job they were reaching out about. I had a first interview with a team member that was a coding challenge. The interview did not know about the role and wasn't able to provide any information. Did not proceed past this round but the process seemed unorganized and again no insight about what the role itself was shared.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2019
Interview
Interview process included call with recruiter, followed by hiring manager. The conversation proceeded to a take home assignment which led to 5 rounds of on-site interview which included questions on SQL, R, Statistics and Behavioral
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions around business of lyft, why I would join lyft, take home based on SQL and predictive analytics, LTV of a driver, and behavioral questions
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
The interview process consisted of an initial phone screen with the recruiter. After the phone screen I was given a 2 hour analytics exam that I was required to take online. Upon passing the exam, there was a more in-depth conversation with the hiring manager. I then heard back from the recruiter and moved on to the final round of interviews onsite. There was 5 or 6 interview onsite and a presentation that I had to prepare and deliver to all my interviewers. Following the onsite I heard from the recruiter and had one final conversation set up with the lead of my business unit. While there was a decent amount of interviews, everyone was great throughout the entire process and it was easy to tell that they want to ensure they are hiring the right people. I would highly recommend interviewing with Lyft.
