I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MEDS in Mar 2013
Interview
Initial phone interview; then in person interview. Background screening, drug screening, PPD testing, Tititers, then after you could potentially receive offer. Total recruiting, interview, onboarding took over a month.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MEDS (North Indianapolis, IN)
Interview
The face to face interview was about 2 minutes. There were only a few questions, but most of the interview consisted of the hiring manager explaining the job title, pay, and expected hours.
I submitted an application online to be a patient advocate with Medicaid Eligibility and Denial Services (MEDS), and received a call about two weeks later from someone at their headquarters location in KY. I had a phone interview at that time (roughly 20 minutes), and am waiting to hear whether I will be continuing in the process for an in-person interview. Heads up for other applicants, some PT advocates work in hospital, others work in a call center environment. The interviewer was kind and really easy to talk to, it was a very standard interview.
