Organized an interview with MINT very quickly after the application process. Pretty straightforward, freelance contract teaching work. I was not available to start right away so it wasn't the right fit for me. Seems like one of those places where your teaching skills and TEFL training aren't actually valued, they just want you to read off of a PowerPoint. When I asked if lesson planning time was compensated, the interviewer was genuinely confused by the concept, saying that it was a teacher's responsibility to be able to immediately teach any material without planning ahead of time. They seemed disappointed and confused that I said I wasn't able to start immediately and needed time to consider multiple positions.
