Was contacted directly by the Hiring Manager and we agreed on a phone interview time for him to call me. The email exchange was efficient and friendly.
However, the time came for the interview and he did not call. I emailed twice - once the slotted interview time was nearly over and again the next day - politely stating the time had passed and I would love the chance to reschedule. He never answered. The rudeness affiliated with simply not following through on an email or at least replying saying why quite honestly has me floored.
I do hope nothing happened to him, and if I do find out that is the case I will edit this post right away. But as for now... a terrible experience.
30 minutes phone screen with the hiring manager, quick HR screen to talk about salary and benefits, and a one to two hour technical presentation with the team along with questions.
Pertinent questions. Polite and excellent demeanor. Very relevant to the occupation and career field. Answered all of my questions as well and provided feedback. Very professional and informative organization. Very accommodating to my requests.
First you must give a 45 minute technical presentation. The questions that follow will be used to test your knowledge of what you've presented as well as determine how well you work in a collaborative environment. You don't need to know all the answers, and its preferable to say "I'm not sure" than making something up.
