I met the recruiters at my university's career fair and had an on-campus interview in the same week. One week later, I was contacted by phone and email about an offer.

Interview
It was 2 rounds. The first was a phone interview with one of the department leads. Basically just a resume deep-dive. Second round I had to present a technical project to 2 people. They asked follow up questions about the project and then some more basic behavioral/technical questions about other things on my resume.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MITRE (McLean, VA) in Feb 2025
Interview
Since it was a early-college level internship, there was only a phone screen and follow-up behavioral, which was around 40-60 minutes for the latter, with all types of typical interview questions (biggest problem you've faced, etc etc) coming at you, from a project director.

Tell me about a time you had to resolve a conflict in your team.
Simple, straightforward. Not many hard questions and seemed to go over basics that most people in the field should already be familiar with. Also included some interesting puzzle questions that seemed to gauge personality/thinking.
