I went there, middle of tel aviv. At first i could find it. They have their office in an old building in appartment with broken elevator. They couldn't open the elevator door.
They offered a coffee and then a guy went and washed me a cup. Cute.
First I've been interviewed by two fellows. They were nice. I felt like i am talking gibberish, they don't have any knowledge in ios.
They where asking basic stuff like how memory management works.
Later they asked me to write some algorithm to insert strings. They said that i have 15 min or so. I just used foundation, it took me 3 min and i showed them. After they saw my single line implementation they ask it to be something else and reordered.
After this 'tech' review. A guy sat with me asked for me desired salary i said i want them to make an offer. He said "sure don't worry we will". But first he ask to make a homework not sure what it will be. Sure.
The guy tried to explain what they do he was going explaining in circles . I didn't got any if it beside its a B2B. I tried to understand for what they need ios dev... He said they want to go mobile first. Really? They existed for some time so they don't have any product yet? was not clear.
Later nearing the end of the week i ping them. They replied that i don't fit because they want some of 'their own'.
I felt relief.
