I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MTP Investment Group (New York, NY) in Oct 2021
Interview
In the interview David seemed nice enough however very evasive when asked questions. Asked about health insurance and his answer was "I don't know, we are part of a union that handles that." and for what are the actual responsibilities of this role "basically everything you did here." and pointed to my resume.
I went to the interview because I could not figure out if MTP parking was related to MTP investing and did not see this glassdoor page. The building is dumpy, which fair for a parking company, but they scan your license front and back when you get in. Suspicious but ok. Then they hand you a form to fill out, pretty standard questions like name, address, previous experience etc. But in with those benign questions was SSN. So I've walked in just for an interview and you need to scan my license and know my SSN? I left that blank. To be fair no one on this page complained of identity theft but someone alleged hes not paying his taxes so seems dangerous.
So at the end of the interview he says "any questions" but stands up like to signal this is over. There was another interviewee waiting. That was when I asked those 2 questions regardless and got those unsatisfying answers. And then he says "Ok so what we'll do is have you come in for one day and work, paid of course, and see how it goes.". Sorry that doesn't sound like a legitimate business practice to me.

Question 1
"Do you have common sense?"
"How many windows are in this building? its 5 floors"
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at MTP Investment Group (New York, NY) in May 2025
Interview
Brief questioning. Not in a traditional business building. Will give you more trial days out of the blue. With no explicit mentions of compensation for these extra trial days. Totally not suspicious at all.
