I applied to Macy's online for a Retail Sales Associate part-time position. I had submitted my application on Sunday and I got an e-mail from them on Monday inviting me to schedule for an interview. I scheduled my interview online for Wednesday (the only day available) at 11am. I arrived 10 minutes early for the interview. When I arrived I was the only one in the waiting area outside the offices. I was only there for about five seconds when a woman (AST Manager) came out and introduced herself and said she'd be with me in a moment. She came back shortly and led me into her office where the interview took place. She was very nice, and didn't seem too tightly wound, so it made me more comfortable. We made some small talk during the interview, which consisted of probably 7 or 8 questions and only lasted about 10-15 minutes. She asked why I wanted to work for Macy's, How I feel about working in a constantly changing environment, and a couple more questions. Mostly based on my experiences or what I'd do in certain situations. After the questions, she just briefly described how scheduling works there and told me that there were currently no positions available, but that she knew there was going to be, so she'd keep my information on file.
