      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Columbus, OH) in Mar 2012

      Interview

Dress nicely, as if you were a manager working there. Bring a pen or two, and note paper, so you can write down any important information. Team concepts are important in business right now. The best strategy is not to try to beat up or embarass the other people, but to work with them to make ideas better. If you disagree with something someone says, then be gentle, and present your opinion while considering the other person's idea. Your future at Macy's depends on whether You agree with Macy. If you present yourself well, and you don't get the job, that merely shows that you won't be working with a company that wouldn't treat you well anyways. Oh, and by the way, take down the full name, correct spelling of everyone who interviews you. Send them a thank-you card The Day Of The Interview. Just a quick note thanking the interviewer for their time, highlighting a point that shows you are good for the job, and saying that you hope to hear from them soon. Three sentences is enough, four is sometimes too much. Good luck!
