I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Macy's (College Station, TX) in Nov 2013
Interview
Two 30-minute interviews. One is traditional face-to-face, the second is a "what would you do in this situation?" In both parts of the interview, they strongly urge you to just be yourself, they want to see that you are a person and not just a job-seeker. After all, you're going to be interacting with hundreds of people if you get the offer!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about your leadership experiences, how does your major relate, what are your strengths and weaknesses, are you prepared to relocate?
The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.
It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.
There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
