Well, you apply and later get an email about attending a "hiring seminar". The "seminar" is in fact standing around outside for an hour hearing people talk about themselves awkwardly until another lady calls out names from the pool of people... DON'T GO WITH HER. She takes you to the side and tells you, "You're not what we're looking for, sorry!"
I'm completely and utterly insulted by the whole process. People are standing around in the dirt in high heels and professional clothing. If you get invited to this so called "hiring seminar", wear a pair of tennis shoes. You will thank me! Also, try to arrive early as parking is ridiculous. And you'll probably be told to wait outside, so bring an umbrella or jacket or wear layers if it's hot.
Judging by the way they process their applicants and the level of respect they give them in the beginning, I'm actually thrilled I wasn't chosen to proceed with the process. It doesn't seem at all like a company I would want to work for if they treat you like cattle right out of the gate... The LEAST they could do is take 30 minutes out of their day to review resumés and see if people are a good fit or not, instead inviting EVERYONE who applies there. I drove all the way from Orlando, FL. What a waste of time and gas. Newsflash Maricamp, we're PEOPLE, not ANIMALS.
