I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Market Expertise (Pune)
Interview
A COMPLETE LALA COMPANY.
Jason Philips - CMO is the person who conducted my interview. It was the only round of the interview, which went on for around 20 minutes. He was only interested in discussing salary, although that's not his job. In the entire interview, he was only interested in putting me down and kept questioning my past experiences so as to make me a low offer. When asked, I said "xyz" amount as my expected in-hand salary; he lost it completely and went as far as to tell me right there and then that "you will get a call from HR, accept whatever they have to offer."
No relevant questions were asked as per the job role.
He couldn’t even read my job application and kept jumbling my experiences and kept repeating the same questions. When I asked him that he's missing the timeline, and when finally he got that it was he who kept messing up the timeline of past experiences and internships, he immediately pivoted to discuss salary, which was horrible.
BTW the job title says "Market Research Analyst" but there's nothing related to analysis in this job role. They want cheap labour to do menial tasks of calling and bothering people. If you are a postgraduate and are willing to make a career in market research, stay away from this sham.
