I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Marriott International (Williamsburg, VA) in Mar 2012
Interview
Phone interview (testing if you have a friendly phone voice to be able to handle a call well with clear speech)
1st Interview with supervisor and possible direct manager. They want to feel you out if you could be a good addition team. Are you friendly, sociable. Are you trainable and eager to learn.
If you get through that. it is looking good
2nd Interview Assistant General Manager and GM of Hotel. These guys have the final say. They have spoken to the Supervisor and the Manager and have a pretty good idea of where you stand and most time they made their decision before they see you and they are just going through formality and getting a chance to ask you some harder questions ans try to stump you.
Since you are most applying for an entry level position the interview with the supervisor and immediate manager will be your most important interview.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Marriott International (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2025
Interview
An application and online assessment, via the marrriott website. After this you set up an in-person interview on site.
However, it is an incredibly unprofessional and disorganized set up. Interviews typically happen after the scheduled time or are cancelled last minute. Very little appropriate introduction to the company's expectations for the role.
