Interview
I received a call from the HR recruiter to schedule an onsite interview with the product director. At the outset, she informed me that the position's title had been changed from Group Product Manager to Senior Product Manager. The interview proceeded to cover my professional experience, and she presented me with a challenge to solve on the spot, asking me to share my thoughts and ideas.
At the conclusion of the interview, she mentioned that she would send me a case study. The case study was extensive, essentially comprising three separate scenarios, each with its own set of challenges. I completed the case study within the given timeframe and submitted my work as requested.
Subsequently, I was invited to another interview, this time with a product manager. This interview felt more like a casual conversation than a structured interview, with no specific questions asked.
After this interview, I did not receive any feedback. When I followed up, I was told that the selection process was still ongoing and that I needed to wait. However, I have not received any updates since then.

Question 1
- Presented me with a challenge related to the fulfillment process.
- Provided another challenge concerning a decrease in GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume).
- Asked additional questions about the product lifecycle.
I had a very fast interview process with this company, with three unstructured meetings in two days. The feedback I received during the interviews was positive, but my experience with the HR department was very frustrating. After my final interview, the HR representative disappeared and didn't respond to my requests for an update. I reached out again a month later and sent a message to the first interviewer who should’ve been my direct manager, but it was seen with no reply. Overall, this was a very disappointing, disrespectful and wasteful experience.
