I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Brussels) in Apr 2010
Interview
1. PST (problem solving test): 34 multiple choice questions to be solved in 1hr time. A basic analytical test, however the focus is on analyzing data rather than simple math questions
2. 3x1 hr case interview with consultants of various levels
3. 3x1 hr case interview with consultants of various levels
4. 3x1 hr case interview with partners/directors
Interviews start with some "fit questions", talking about experiences where you showed a strong drive, strong leadership, or the ability to positively convince someone. This is followed by a short case, always including a math problem. During the last minutes you get the opportunity to ask questions.

Interview
Positive experience until the super day. The scheduling was quite long and they gave me a month's gap between my previous round and my final round. But overall everyone speaks eloquently and thinks logically. My interactions with senior partners are also very positive; they ask insightful, probing questions and were encouraging throughout the interview. I thought I smashed it, but one of the partners called me the other day and rejected me.
After submitting my application in their portal. In about two days I recevied the link to do their Solve assessment, The assessment had three games. I was however not selected for the next rounds.
