I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Herzliya) in Mar 2010
Interview
I applied online by sending my CV and a personnel cover letter.
the process started quickly as i was summoned to take the problem solving test after a week or so.
i tried practicing using the practice test which are available in the mckinsey web site.
the test itself was a bit harder then the practice one.
i would recommend to pay close attention to the time as during the actual test time wasnt taken into account: at the start no one mentioned the current hour or the finishing hour and no 15 minute alert was read out loud. there was a clock in the classroom but as i didnt notice the hour at the start i wasnt able to use it and spend my time wisely.

Question 1
many numerical questions that could be solved very easily or in a complicated manner. i would suggest always looking to strike out candidate answers and not go straight to math
I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (New York, NY)
Interview
Positive experience until the super day. The scheduling was quite long and they gave me a month's gap between my previous round and my final round. But overall everyone speaks eloquently and thinks logically. My interactions with senior partners are also very positive; they ask insightful, probing questions and were encouraging throughout the interview. I thought I smashed it, but one of the partners called me the other day and rejected me.
First you get an HR Round, then 2 back to back interviews then 3 interviews. The overall process took around 2-3 weeks, it was not very difficult very fast turnaround
