I applied online. I interviewed at Media Development Investment Fund in Sept 2023
Interview
It was probably one of the least professional processes I've ever participated in. Initially, they seemed eager to find someone, and things were moving quite fast. The interviews were interesting; we discussed the potential profitability of free media, media landscapes and so on. Everything seemed to be going well, and the overall energy was positive. After the second round of interviews (they had told me there would be three), I was left with the impression that I had a good chance and that they liked my profile. However, two weeks after the second interview, I hadn't received any information from their side. I followed up with an email, and the recruiter told me that she would update me by the end of that week. Then, after not receiving an update for almost a month following the follow-up, I wrote to them again, and they informed me that they had decided to go with another candidate who was more qualified for the position. In my opinion this is not the way you treat candidates who devoted time and energy to the process.
