I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India
The interview lasted for 30 mins. They mostly focus on Projects and a few questions based on the specific role you are applying for. If we prepare our projects and learn topics based on the role we are applying for, it will help. I was not interested in that role (was unaware of it, firstly) and hadn't prepared for it.
- Intro, projects and few electronics based questions.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (Bangalore) in Mar 2023
Worst HR I ever encountered in my life. They called me for an interview and she asked for a particular time and date whether I am available at that time. No choice was given. Luckly I was available to take an interview in that slot. She didn't send me any invite for the interview so called her a day before interview to share meeting link. She said she will do it in an hour which she didn't. I waited for meeting link, even I was available at the scheduled interview time but no response came. Worst thing is next, when I called her what happened she blamed me that I was not available for the interview and panel waited for too long. He blamed me that I didn't receive a call. I thought of ignoring this incident and asked her reschedule. After rescheduling same thing happened, this time I called at the time of interview to share meeting link. This time she declined the call. Mercedes HR need to be more professional. They are damaging the image of organisation. This way they will loose top talent in India

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (Bangalore)
The interview process consisted of four rounds:- The first round was a mix of technical and aptitude related questions with verbal ability. The difficulty was average. The next round was the Technical Interview where I was asked questions on the basics of DSA like Stacks, Time Complexities etc. The interviewer also stressed upon topics like OOP concepts starting from the basics to the intermediate level. There was also a long discussion about the contents of my resume which included my academic projects. The next round was the Manager Interview which was another discussion about the stuff mentioned in my resume and I was asked a few situational based questions as well. The HR Round, however, was held as an online meeting of sorts where the presenters explained about the various departments and the domains they are working on and there was a Q and A session for any queries from the candidates.
- It was mostly resume-based questions.

The interviewer was very nice and well spoken. The interview itself was like a casual conversation. The interviewer explained himself and the questions really well. The questions asked were always relevant and direct.
- After introductions I was asked numerous questions based on my resume. They really wanted to find out what my knowledge and capabilities are to see where I could fit in the organisation.
