      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at Merck

      Interview

First you apply online, then there is an on-campus interview. Finally they get back to you in around December (or whenever it was that they specified) and they give you a good amount of time to make your decision. The only bad part was that unless you were a returning intern they don't let you know where you'll be working until you've already accepted. However, you know they will give you a meaningful project wherever you're placed so that wasn't such a negative.

      Question 1

You're running a process that has a reaction and produces a product that is recovered. One day you don't have as much product as expected. Describe what you would investigate to find the source(s) of the problem.
