      Full Stack Developer Interview

      29 Jan 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Tel Aviv
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mfortis (Tel Aviv) in Jan 2017

      Interview

First, before any human contact was made, I was asked to do an online test (via Codility), which I declined. After some negotiation I was invited to an on-site interview. When I arrived I was greeted by the secretary, which was strict and to the point. I was given a "business English" test, which ironically had grammar mistakes, and a pretty technical form to fill (personal details, work history, etc.). Later, the team leader arrived and gave me a programming test. I tried talking with him a bit, to understand what's the process, or what the company does. He was very evasive and brief, and refused to talk since "I will know further along the process" and said we'll talk in the end of the test. The test was very easy - render a contacts JSON in a table, and add basic editing abilities (filter, sort, add, remove). When I was done, the team leader performed a code-review, and I prompted him for answers. He was irritated by my inquiry, and said that we're done for today, and we'll continue this talk in the next steps. Afterwards, another man (I don't know what his position was) entered the room and made a code-review.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Render a contacts JSON in a table, and add basic editing abilities (filter, sort, add, remove), using any front-end framework you like (Angular.js preferred).
