I contacted HR and an interview was scheduled for the next day. I studied hard for interview and invested all my energy in interview preparation. Day 1 - I joined the interview, interview was on Mphasis internal interview tool which had auto-recorded for audit purpose, I waited there for 30 minutes but no one came in then I got an email that person is not free and then they rescheduled it for the next day. I was surprised that this time interview link was on the public teams messenger but not in Mphasis's internal interview tool. I felt something is fishy and doubtful. Day 2 - I joined the interview and waited on call for 25 minutes. The team lead joined and asked basic questions which could be answered by a fresher and finished the interview in 10 minutes. I was surprised that she did not asked anything and took only 10 minutes to finish interview, I felt again that something is fishy. Day 3 - I got call from HR that I have cleared interview and the next round will be scheduled for the next day. I was not surprised that the way the first round went, anyone could clear it. I got an interview invitation by title final interview, which made me doubtful why such a big company is so loose to take 2 rounds of interviews only. Day 4- I joined the interview call and waited for 15 minutes, no one joined the call. Then the team manager came and asked a few basic questions, and then she asked about my salary expectation and location preference. She finished the interview in 20 minutes. I was completely sure that I am not going to get this job as both interview were taken, it was a dummy opening just to do formality and to show in system that these candidates we are going to hire, so that they can show to their client and can take the project. I was so shocked with this kind of behavior from a such a big company, I got the same experience with Accenture also. These big companies just plays with candidates feelings and guts, when a candidate invest their all energy to clear interview but they are just playing with candidates to get the projects. Pathetic experience which made me decide to not apply in Mphasis again in future.
