Interview
Three interviews: (1) phone interview with HR (2) interview with the hiring manager and HR (3) interview with the DigiDirect Group executive and HR executive.
(1) And (2) were face to face at their Sydney office. Nice, conversational style interview that allows you to also ask questions.
Usually conducted over a video call or in person with a developer or engineering manager.
Expect to:
Discuss your code from the take-home challenge
Build something live or fix a bug with screen sharing
Explain your reasoning and problem-solving approach
Cover topics like:
HTML/CSS best practices and accessibility
JavaScript/React/Vue/Angular logic
Browser behavior, DOM manipulation, debugging
Version control (Git)
