I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at New San Jose Builders
Interview
Was scheduled for interview at 2 pm, got an initial interview by HR at around 2:30. Initial interview asked me about my educational and professional background and why I chose the company (I didn't really choose, HR manager just reached out to me via LinkedIn). Waited another 30 minutes for an interview with the marketing officer. Whole interview took more than an hour. Was introduced to the company, the brands under the company, what digital marketing staff does, job responsibilities, etcetera. Was also asked for my portfolio on the spot, if I can produce static and digital collaterals for all NJSBI brands, and if I'm willing to use my phone to produce content for the company. Was also told about work hours (compressed M-F 8 am to 6:30 pm). Overall, interview process was easy; felt like I learned about the company more than they learned about me. Very lowball offer for fresh grads despite having experience and a portfolio.
