The process took 1 day. I interviewed at New York Life (Sandy, UT) in Feb 2011
Interview
the interview itself was really good. it was set up as a question and answer deal where you ask questions about the company and they ask questions about you. I did some research before going in and had a few general and specific questions. I would be good to know who the manager of the office is and ask specific financial questions. The interviewer was half an hour late so be prepared for that. this wasn't necessarily her fault its just that the interview process takes a little longer then expected.
Only have done screening round so far. Was asked about 5 questions and they were well structured and led by interviewer. Started very general and then asked for a few examples.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at New York Life (New York, NY) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview was conducted via phone interview. Answering questions from the manager. Talk about the position and job duty. After the phone interview, the manager scheduled a time in office interview.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at New York Life (Charlotte, NC) in Feb 2020
Interview
First interview is just a basis of telling you what the company does. A beefed up questioning asking what your work style is like. No information on salary or anything until the second interview.
