I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Next Generation Marketing (Sacramento, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
I spoke to a Next Generation Marketing recruiter at my on-campus career fair. The gentleman I talked to explained that I would be working with small companies looking to strengthen their brand at trade shows in Costco and Sam's Club. After our conversation he seemed very eager to schedule me for a phone interview with their HR department. A few days later I received a call from an HR representative, which only lasted 15 minutes. She hardly asked me any questions, which I thought was strange. I was then scheduled for a second interview with an account manager at a nearby Costco. During this interview, the account manager asked me a few questions regarding my resume while we were sitting at the food court in Costco. It was noisy and distracting having customers walking around and eating at the tables next to us. After talking about the company, she then took me to the booth where she was tabling and promoting a product to customers. At that moment, I realized this job was not at all what I was expecting. This position is more of a sales position and did not have much to do with marketing. If you are interested in sales and tabling, then this is the job for you. They wanted to schedule me for a final interview with the CEO, but I declined the offer.

Interview
Upon applying on LinkedIn, I immediately got a response to schedule an interview with the CEO.
After a short chat, the CEO told me how disappointed he was with the person who set up the interview, since I apparently should have been screened out.
The job title is misleading, and the overall experience felt unprofessional and discouraging.
As noted in many people's experiences, the company is hiring for sales roles for AT&T booths in places like Costco, although the job descriptions do not allude to that at all.
Apply only if you are interested in doing sales; do not rely on the job title or description.

STAY AWAY. Highly unprofessional and are deceptive about their job titles. They run events for ATT inside Costco. You’re essentially a sales rep. I immediately said I wasn’t interested and hung up.
